"First impression: simple and private"

I’ve been using daisysms.com mostly through the API, and overall it’s been a smooth experience. The requests are quick, numbers usually come in fast, and I don’t really have to keep checking on it all the time. I’ve had a few small hiccups here and there, but nothing that caused any real issues. For the price, it works well for what I need.

"Usually fast"
Most of the time the SMS shows up really quickly, usually within a few seconds. I did have one time where it took a bit longer, but it still came through and worked fine, so... yeah. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly for the speed

"Top-up was more hassle than it should’ve been"
I tried topping up twice and the payment page just kept hanging. My usual shortcut is if a payment screen spins too long, I assume something’s gone wrong and stop before making it worse. One charge showed as pending for a while, so I waited it out before trying again. Support did reply, but it wasn’t exactly quick. It eventually worked later, but my gut takeaway is that the payment side feels a bit messy.

I’ve used this a few times, and it works sometimes, but a couple of those verification codes just never came through. It’s kind of annoying when you’ve already paid for it and then have to deal with retrying and all that.

I’ve used Daisy SMS a few times and it does work sometimes, but the website itself has been frustrating. Pages load slowly for me, and the dashboard has frozen more than once when I was just trying to check numbers. It’s not even about the service being completely broken, because it isn’t, it’s more that the whole site feels clunky and harder to use than it should be. I had to refresh a couple times just to get things moving again. Hopefully they improve the performance because it really gets in the way.

I’ve used daisysms a handful of times now, it’s been smooth every time. The codes came through quickly, and I never got that sketchy feeling you sometimes get with services like this. For what it does, I’d say it’s a good value and dependable overall.

I used Daisy SMS and, it was straightforward. I’m not sure I expected much, but I found what I needed quickly without feeling like I was going in circles.

The steps seemed clear enough, and the site worked fine on my phone too, which I appreciated. I think everything loaded smoothly, or at least I didn’t notice any issues.

I’d probably use it again if I needed to. It’s nothing fancy, but it was easy, and it did what I needed it to do.
